Service Provided

gemaker has provided business development, commercialisation and market research expertise to further SSCRC technologies. gemaker developed and implemented a commercialisation strategy (to spin-off) for the award-winning iSee video collaboration technology developed by the University of Wollongong; successfully applied for a $50,000 Commercialisation Australia grant, attracted beta testers and first product licenses and successfully applied for state, national and international iAwards.

Gemaker worked side by side with the iSee team to help identify new target markets and in building a practical strategic plan that had strong buy-in for implementation. Gemaker’s enthusiastic engagement was instrumental in increasing beta testing clients to over 1000 registered users and included them negotiating with initial paying proof of concept customers. Gemaker’s contribution  was invaluable to maintaining the business momentum for this exciting new technology.
